HOW IT WORKS
Step 1: Make Your Donation Click the button below (or follow the link) to make a $20 donation through our giving page. That’s it… twenty bucks and you’re in.
Step 2: Send Us a Photo Once your donation is complete, email a photo of your pet to patrizia.vila@pbhsnaples.org. One pet per photo, please (we need to see those adorable details). Include your name so we can match you to your donation.
Step 3: We Get to Work One of our very enthusiastic (and very non-professional) shelter artists will hand-draw your pet’s portrait as cute ugly as we can! We’re talking real pencil-to-paper effort here. Will it be accurate? Maybe. Will it be beautiful in its own way? Absolutely.
Step 4: Your Masterpiece Arrives We’ll send your completed portrait straight to your inbox. Frame it, share it, laugh about it… it’s yours forever.
My (Cute) Ugly Pet Drawing
Have you ever wanted a hilariously imperfect drawing of your pet? Well, buckle up… Patty Baker Humane Society Naples is absolutely overflowing with questionable artistic talent, and we’re putting it to good use.
Here’s the deal: for a $20 donation, you submit a photo of your pet, and one of our shelter team members will hand-draw a one-of-a-kind portrait just for you. We’re talking real, honest effort here. Think more “abstract masterpiece” than photorealism. Think “my five-year-old nephew could probably do better, but also… could he?”
Every single portrait is drawn by hand by actual people at the shelter (no filters, just vibes and a pencil or some markers). Some of our artists are surprisingly talented. Others are… well, that’s part of the fun. Either way, you’re getting an ugly cute portrait of your pet, hand-drawn by a shelter artist (pronounced: arteeest)!
And here’s the best part: every $20 goes directly to supporting the animals in our care. Your donation helps provide food, medical care, enrichment, and everything else our shelter pets need while they wait for their forever homes. So even if your portrait looks like your dog went through a funhouse mirror, you’re making a real difference.
