Welcome to PBHSN's Volunteer Onboarding

Please follow the steps below to begin the onboarding process.

Please note: PBHSN Orientation and Shelter Tours are offered once a month and typically fill up in advance due to high demand. If there are no dates listed on the calendar, it indicates that all Shelter Tour dates are fully booked. Please revisit at the beginning of next month for updated availability.

Please complete the PBHSN Adult Volunteer Waiver of Liability.

If you are under the age of 18, your parent/guardian must complete the PBHSN Under 18 Volunteer Waiver of Liability on your behalf.

PBHSN Orientation and Main Shelter Tour

PBHSN Main Shelter Tour

Now that you have filled out the waiver of liability, you are ready for your orientation and tour the Main Shelter. 

  • Location: 370 Airport-Pulling Road North, Naples, FL 34104
  • Meet in the Main Lobby

Tracey Talentino, PBHSN Volunteer Coordinator, will conduct the tour and onboarding meeting. Please sign up for an upcoming shelter tour date below:

For safety purposes, whenever you are at the shelter, please wear:

  • long, sturdy pants (jeans, khakis, cargo pants, etc.) 
  • closed-toed shoes with nonskid soles (running shoes, sneakers) 

You must be dressed as required to participate in the shelter tour and volunteer activities. This is for your safety.

Electronic Volunteer Application and Background Check

Electronic Application and Possible Background Check

Once you have completed your shelter tour, you are required to submit your PBHSN Volunteer Application. If you are 18 years of age or older, we may ask you to submit to a background check.

After your onboarding is complete, we will provide you with information about the next steps in your volunteer journey with Patty Baker Humane Society Naples.
